We represent creditors such as banks and financial institutions and corporate debtors in insolvency matters before the National Company Law Tribunal, Bengaluru and the Debts Recovery Tribunal. in relation to insolvency matters appearing on behalf of operational creditors, financial creditors and corporate debtors. We draft insolvency notices (Form-4), Company Petitions on behalf of Operational and Financial Creditors and lodge claims before the Interim Resolution Professional. We also act as local counsel for various national law firms for their matters in Bengaluru. We are on the panel of IDBI Bank and handle mandates for Ratnakar Bank on a regular basis. We also appear on behalf of various companies and individuals before the Debts Recovery Tribunal in relation to recovery proceedings and SARFAESI proceedings. We have advised a major steel company based in Hospet, Bellary on strategies for opposing insolvency petitions instituted against it before the National Company Law Tribunal and in the High Court of Karnataka and also appeared in those matters. The client was able to resolve the disputes with the Banks based on our strategic advice. We have also appeared for a company which was ordered to be wound up by the BIFR and opposed the winding up proceedings before the High Court and obtained a stay against the same. The Company was thereafter able to obtain a one-time settlement with the banks and resolve its financial issues.
